This Holland & Holland Badminton,Circa 1937,is in excellent condition . The chopper lump barrels are fitted with a concave rib and the left barrel is well choked for high birds.The satin finished action is lightly rose and scroll engraved and has a detachable lock. The long well figured walnut stock has a gold oval .Holland and Holland ,was founded in 1835 by Henry Holland and today they are one of the foremost London gunmakers.This light weight gun is a delight to handle and comes in an oak and leather maker's case.
