This classic pair of Woodward, Circa 1910, is very desirable. The 30" mono block barrels are well choked for high birds. The attractive scroll engraving has some original colour and the fences are ornately carved in the traditional Woodward style.The action has the modern sidelock and is stocked up to the fences.These single trigger guns have attractive walnut stocks with the famous Prince of Wales grip. The guns come in an handsome and original Woodward leather case.James Woodward originally worked for Purdy as one of their top craftsmen. He formed his own company in 1872 and the enviable reputation of only making best London sidelocks
